PROGRAM MARCH - MAY 2017

MARCH 12 | TANZSCOUT TRIP by White Horse

In TRIP White Horse are researching collective intoxicating experiences: they steal gestures from the combative spirit and pathos, borrow revolutionary bodies from the past and sweat it out during their search for traces of utopia.

Tanzscout Berlin offers an introduction at 16.30.

>> Free participation in the Tanzscout introduction!

MARCH 17 | VISIT A REHEARSAL OF FLEISCHSALAT by Flämig/ Mears-Clarke

Ensuing from a pivotal moment with meat salad, the performers have researched stereotypes and micro aggression against the backdrop of German colonial history and the process of reunification.

>>Visit the performers in the middle of their rehearsal period and give them feedback!

MARCH 22 | KIEZKANTINE

Every two months we open the cafeteria to the neighborhood, artists and the public and invite them to a jointly cooked soup and to get to know each other. Every edition will have a specific theme – in March, the theme is "collections"!

>> We offer free tickets. (event is in german)

MARCH 24 | CONVERSATION I JUST WANNA FUCKING DANCE by Fleischlin/ Meser

How can peaceful resistance be choreographed? The protagonists of the evening are people who bring their protest to the streets with their physical presence, standing, walking, sitting, hopping or dancing. The performance will be followed by a conversation with the artists where you can ask questions and give feedback.

>> Reduced-price club tickets. Conversation after the performance.

MARCH 29+31 | MADE FOR LOVE by Monster Truck

Monster Truck tell the love story between a shampoo bottle and a carton of milk. In a provocative way they stage the outer and inner life of things as a lonely circular dance made up of a fetish for consumption and self-gratification.

>> Reduced-price club tickets.

APR 07+08 | FLEISCHSALAT by Flämig/ Mears-Clarke

>> Reduced-price club tickets.

APR 20 | IBSEN:GESPENSTER by Markus&Markus

In Ibsen’s drama the protagonist Osvald asks his mother to help him with his euthanasia – she is completely torn. In 2014 the group spent 18 months with 81 year-old Margot and accompanied her to Switzerland where she, with the assistance of an organization, put an end to her own life. Is there a fundamental right to choose to die?

>> Reduced-price club tickets.

MAY 06+07 | GRRRRRL by Henrike Iglesias
