          2019 April 26 28 29 30 | 19.30
          Festsaal

          Auf Deutsch - in German

HAUEN-UND-STECHEN and Theater HORA (Zurich) liberate Wagner's opera from its corset of sophistiaction: Together with the audience they drink Isolde's Death Potion to surrender themselves to love. In a huge whale installation, they navigate through an ocean of euphoria, depression, lust and hatred into a real utopia. Wagner's music becomes a weapon for disrupting privileged conversations and questioning tacit liberal agreements. In all that noise, a normal discussion is no longer possible.
