Back to the big wigs of choreography! The multigenerational ensemble of CRANKY BODIES DANCE RESET celebrates the comeback of the big choreographic form. Nine contemporary dancers from Berlin, Warsaw and Budapest form a living memory through a dialogue between style-shaping actors of dance history: Five works by Trisha Brown, Lucinda Childs, Stephanie Skura, Meg Stuart and Sasha Waltz serve as inspiration for a dance-practical research on the Post-Judson-era, their practices and artistic-political discourses that surround them. It thus dares to find new explorations for choreographic practices of today. The shared joy about dancing and complex movement serves as inspiration for dancers and audience likewise.
