Niemandkommt-Festival

No one’s coming, everyone’s going! On July 24, 2020, an enormous festival will take place in Berlin where a stunning number of independent artists and culture makers working in all disciplines will take part – by not showing up. During the coronavirus pandemic, many freelance artists and culture makers have been unable to earn money and pay their living costs. This is why we’re turning to you: Show your solidarity! Buy a ticket for Berlin’s (non) event of the year and don’t show up!

Quartett plus 1 + Flinntheater Kosa La Vita

          hp

          2014 January 28 | 21.00
          Hochzeitssaal

Did Dr. Ignace Murwanashyaka order for a massacre to take place in Eastern Congo from his cellphone in Mannheim? Can anonymous victim-witnesses provide usable testimony per video? Does “vita” mean life in Latin or war in Swahili? At the higher court in Stuttgart, the first war crimes trial is being held in Germany according to German law. The accused is a leader of the Hutu militia FDLR and a German resident. Global communication and its legal translatability is examined through the use of music and language.

The format of Making Of#, was specifically designed for the grant project Flausen - young artists in residence of the Theater Wrede + in Oldenburg. The idea and the creative process are at the forefront. A finished product will not be shown, but rather the journey to it.
