Tanztage Berlin 2021

SOP_HP_TATA21_1200x900

JANUAR 07 bis ∞

Since hard times require furious dancing, the 30th edition of Tanztage Berlin under the new curation of Mateusz Szymanówka investigates dance’s anti-authoritarian tradition. From January 7th onwards, in the dystopian “now” after the afterparty, the festival presents twelve performances by emerging choreographers which examine the body in revolt - in its fragility, mortality and ability to transform itself and the others.

          Auf Deutsch - in German

The Brothers Karamasov is a novel about three brothers and their father, about children, animals and a murder - and about belief in a world in which questions of faith are simultaneously foreign and doubted.  A thundering thousand page novel about the humor, and the unattainable in life. It is a novel almost as challenging as life itself. All the characters are drawn into situations and relationships that they can’t even handle themselves. They slowly break free and become that what they are:  complicated, needy and surprised.
