Many people classify themselves as belonging to society's "Mitte". But where exactly is that - somewhere between top and bottom, rich and poor? As part of a four-part live reality series, Turbo Pascal go in search of the diffuse categories and relationships that make up the so-called "Mitte". To do this, the collective looks around its own circle of family, friends and acquaintances.
We start in Berlin Mitte. Four friends - Alexandra, Cordula, Jule and Ernst - meet in digital space, discuss, exchange positions and search for their class consciousness. They address lines of conflict and listen to each other. They ask the viewers for advice. They open themselves up to further experiences, invite people from their past and present to join them - even across social distances. But who will really come? Who will join them?
IRGENDWIE MITTE deals with class relations on the relationship level: from real relationships a zoom-com about middle class relations emerges, musically accompanied by Friedrich Greiling / Mittekill. In the course of four episodes, in which the audience can enter at any time, the circle of people expands, the perspectives change. Which forms of solidarity seem possible? Which lines of conflict remain? Can the naming of differences lead to new alliances?
