SOP_HP_TATA21_1200x900

JANUAR 07 bis ∞

Since hard times require furious dancing, the 30th edition of Tanztage Berlin under the new curation of Mateusz Szymanówka investigates dance’s anti-authoritarian tradition. About

12 March 2020
We are suspending our programme until 19.04.!

The Berlin Senator for Culture and Europe, Dr. Klaus Lederer, has decided, after consultation and in agreement with the directors of state theatres, operas and concert halls and of private theatres, to completely discontinue all theatre schedules from tomorrow, 13 March, until 19 April 2020, regardless of seating capacity. The Sophiensæle will follow this decision after consultation with the local public health authority. The measures that are absolutely necessary for reasons of prevention are already very acutely endangering the existence of freelance artists, self-employed persons and small businesses in particular. We hope that quick solutions will be found in consultation with the representatives of the Freie Szene and the political and administrative authorities.

Online tickets already purchased for events from 13 March to 19 April will be automatically refunded by our ticket provider Reservix. We ask for your understanding that due to the current situation the processing may take several weeks. Reservix will actively contact you. If you purchased your tickets at the box office, please contact ticketing@sophiensaele.com directly and by 30 April at the latest for a refund.

Our ticket hotline is not active until 19 April. Tickets for all performances from 24 April onwards can only be booked online via our ticket shop or Reservix.
