With dance, language and sound, Aftermath tells of states of exception and their effects on the body. There are turning points in life after which there is no going back. They deny themselves any narratability – but memories want to be shared, even if there are no words left. Thus silence becomes stuttering, stuttering becomes dancing. A continuing story in the body from which there is no escape.
