Performance
Auf Deutsch + Englisch - In German + English

Both SHOWS will be filmed for documentation-, press- and marketing-related purposes.

Follow Us bring Henrik Ibsen’s best-known female figure into the present and transfer her to the retirement home.

As in Nora’s Doll’s House, there is no lack of rigid structures and paternalism, but the motto “nothing to lose – nothing to expect” also opens up a space of possibilities. Does the actual reality of the individual only emerge when the word "future" disappears from the vocabulary? Between cake scent and icebox, cosy fireplace and fridgid snow storms, the audience is confronted with manifold fantasies about a future possible for all of us: the “old people’s home”.
