Amazons was the name given to women warriors who protected their territory themselves. With Amazonas Claire Vivianne Sobottke created a platform with which she provides grants to female artists in Berlin with the support of a foundation – all beyond gender political limits. In Amazonas #4 Agata Siniarska triggers a tour de force of heat and sweat, facts and affects, dramas and rigmarole. The difference between reality and fiction seems to be nothing more than an optical illusion.
