Bernadette La Hengst:
Bedingungsloses Grundeinsingen

Bedingungsloses Grundeinsingen
As part of a European pilot project, the basic income guarantee (BIG) was launched in various cities within Germany five years ago. In honor of its anniversary, BIG recipients will take stock of how their living situations have changed – under one condition though- that they sing together. The choir, which is made up of unemployed people, frustrated workaholics, single parents, cleaning personnel and exhausted managers, is a thrilling microcosm that doesn’t necessarily unanimously praise the basic income, but rather discusses it from different perspectives.
