Flinn Works: Boss/y – Jetzt erst recht! Ein feministischer Leaderabend – Sophiensæle | Independent Theater in Berlin
Flinn Works: Boss/y – Jetzt erst recht! Ein feministischer Leaderabend
Power and leadership positions are still considered „unfeminine“, and gender equality in parliaments and boards around the world appears to be on the decline. But: All over the world, female politicians are fighting for equality, humanity, and diversity—and against the shift to the right. Their leadership style is characterized by empathy, clarity and solidarity. Is a new culture of leadership on the horizon?
A band consisting of two actresses and three musicians (cello, viola, violin) sings of the downfall of neoliberal feminism, in which women have to perform and fight their way through glass ceilings.
Boss/y – Now More Than Ever! envisions a new, fair world order. A world where “care” does not refer to foot care or unpaid care work, but to the foundation of our coexistence and our relationship with the planet. Featuring speeches and music by, among others, Waltraud Schoppe, Kate Bush, Julia Gillard, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Pussy Riot, Jacinda Ardern, Ricarda Lang, Björk, Ximena Castro, Heidi Reichinnek, and Nemo.
