Due to Covid19 many of the dancers of the performance could not travel. In order to involve them in the production, they produced videos in their respective countries. This resulted in the material for the stage play as well as in their own video works. These are the "ghosts" of the production and complement the stage version of the piece.

Dance meets music, film, video and spoken word: A performative homage to Mark Fisher. With his legendary blog K-Punk, the British cultural scientist and pop theorist Mark Fisher shaped an entire generation of pop-affine capitalism critics. In his texts on little-known music, contemporary films and books, he claimed society a cultural exhaustion syndrome and criticized the widespread view that there was no longer any alternative to capitalist reality: You can imagine the end of the world, but not the end of capitalism?

Barely three years after Mark Fisher's suicide in 2017, the Christoph Winkler Company is now approaching some concepts of his theory, which express themselves not only politically but also aesthetically: For example "Hauntology", i.e. ideas and theories that haunt the present like ghosts from the past, or "the Weird & the Eerie", the strange, not to be confused with the terrible. With a performative mixtape of music, film, dance, video and spoken-word texts by Mark Fisher himself, among others, the company creates an homage to one of the greatest pop-cultural contemporary diagnosticians of our time.
