Bulldozers are flattening the desert, neighborhoods are being fenced off, energy permeates through the informal, a crowd of people occupy the middle lane. How does the city of the future sound? Kötter / Seidl’s virtual stage-urban space inspection makes the radically networked, electromagnetic city audible. Together with musicians, performers and soundscape artist Christina Kubisch they combine different city realities together on stage. They uphold the discourse regarding rights to the city using methods of musical theater: who has the right to shape the space and borders?
