Viní Ventania and Vitória Jovem alias Irmãs Brasil are a double existence of trans artists who develop an experimental practice of freedom in the clash of dance, theater and performance – and play, surprise and challenge with transitions in all its literal senses. Their successful work Eunuchs is now coming to Germany for the first time, reflecting on historical castration processes, transition technologies and gender performance. At the center of this pleasurable destruction of patriarchy and the heteronormative matrix is the dismantling of Western art conventions and our assumptions about the relationship between audience and performers.

They trace the poetics of trans-sisterhood and ancestry to create alternative narratives that resist the dominance of violence and authority in our histories. Manifesting their desire to live in the ruins of our toxic present, they develop a fleshy ritual that also invites the supernatural into the space of the theatre to celebrate existences at risk.

The performance addresses patriarchal violence.

Irmãs Brasil is a double existence of travesti artists, born in a rodeo-cowboy family in Amparo, in the countryside of São Paulo, they were raised in this straight "desert". The first artistic references, the family: the father - a rodeo clown - and the mother - a corn queen, the union of the languages of dance, theatre and performance composes their poetics, like a snake's tongue, the experimental practice of freedom that they build in their processes of creating the world, born from the encounter between the body and the questions that present themselves as urgent. They work with operations of images and signs to create deviations in heteronormative and colonial technologies. A constant state of listening and relating accidents in the creation of rituals of flesh preparation that give access to the supernatural, to performative actions that they build as Brazil Sisters from the need to escape alive to present ghosts and raptures: Two presences that attack a space-time. Devouring and being devoured. How to celebrate existences in danger? How to continue telling the fictions of themselves and their healing processes? How to construct, in the field of art, strategies not to die? We want to be shot by life and give our testimony, that's what it's all about...
