Georg Nussbaumer + Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop:
Ringlandschaft mit Bierstrom

The composer and installation artist, Georg Nussbaumer, reshapes The Ring of the Nibelung from Wagner’s own sheet music. Stripped of vocals, text and enactment the musical score will be reinterpreted and transformed into a 16 hour long tour de force for electronically enhanced strings. Wagner’s music shimmers through an enormous sound fabric that meanders throughout the stage installation. Motifs float by, in a beer haze.
