In commemoration of George Tabori’s birthday, the Performing Arts Fund will once again be awarding the George Tabori prize to the most outstanding off theater and/or dance production ensembles. This year’s first prize, which is worth 20,000 euros, will be awarded to the Leipziger puppet theater Wilde & Vogel, supporting prize awarded with 10,000 euros in addition to a term residency, will be presented to the Düsseldorfer comic theater ensemble half past selber schuld. The public award ceremony will be accompanied by performances, music, film and a reception, and will also honor the four other nominated artist ensembles.
