“Men” eat steaks. They drink bitter beers, burp and are ravenously hungry. “Women”, on the other hand, eat a colourful salad. They do low carb. They‘re already full. They‘re starving. “Women” cook, “men” eat. Lots of sexism in our schnitzel! Henrike Iglesias says: Bullshit! We are hungry and we eat! HENRIKE IGLESIAS understand pop cultural and mass media phenomena as a mirror of societal attitudes and grievances, and love to explore them from queer and feminist perspectives. Based in Berlin and Basel , they make experimental performances. The permanent crew includes Anna Fries, Eva G. Alonso, Malu Peeters, Marielle Schavan and Sophia Schroth.
