Henrike Iglesias is on a mission: to embrace the evil inside oneself, give it a home and surround yourself with evil. Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere. But how to be bad? GRRRRRL examines the attributes referencing women and somewhere between Malleus Maleficarum and Britney Spears finds the productive power of destruction. GRRRRRL pays femmage to the nonconformist, the ugly, the loud – rendering femmage to the evil woman.

HENRIKE IGLESIAS understand pop cultural and mass media phenomena as a mirror of societal attitudes and grievances, and love to explore them from queer and feminist perspectives. Based in Berlin and Basel , they make experimental performances. The permanent crew includes Anna Fries, Eva G. Alonso, Malu Peeters, Marielle Schavan and Sophia Schroth.
