Julian Weber is a choreographer, dancer and visual artist, working on spaces of interaction involving bodies, material and movement. He has often worked with the formal heritage of modernity, e.g. with the Triadisches Ballett. In his work for the Julius-Hans-Spiegel-Zentrum, he created an exhibition setting in which he put fetishistic hybrid sculptures between ethnographic objects, dance props, body organs and quotidian utensils – all in relation to the body and modes of presentation.
