Best Of 10 Years LUCKY TRIMMER
LUCKY TRIMMER celebrates its 10th birthday with a special selection of yummy treats seasoned with a light pinch of entertainment and a generous dose of challenging artistic awesomeness. Some of our most cheered and whooped former LUCKIES bring back to the Berlin stage their delightful “cream of the crop” performances wrapped in a 10 minute max package. Expect a big musical hit from yesterday, an ode to manhood, a very lively foot, some intense and defying dancing, indispensable household tips, rhythmical virtuosity and of course some surprises. A birthday celebration for loving fans and fearless souls.
After an opening surprise, Sonya Levin (LT#16) will heat up the stage with The Day Before, an intelligent dissection of one of the biggest hits of the 60s.
Das Röhren Der Hirsche created and performed by Simon Hartmann, Daniel Ernesto Müller and Tim Gerhards (LT#13) is a satirical piece celebrating and mocking our dear and precious manhood all at once.
In The Foot, a solo embodying a short story written by her brother, Luciá Marote (LT#19) leads us on an usual journey from death to life with astonishing effect and beautiful simplicity.
The LUCKY veteran, Jessy Tuddenham (LT#1) learnt the Art of Fitted Sheet folding at a very young age. After spending a small fortune on a higher education degree in dance, Jessy returns to her roots and in her solo How to… instructs the masses on this rare and dignified household artform.
La Macana (LT#16) alias Caterina Varela and Alexis Fernández are extraordinarily profound and connected in VEN, a perfect interplay which fascinates and thrills as though they defy the laws of physics.
The slapstick brio of the two blindfolded man, Lander Patrick and Jonas Lopez (LT#19), triggers playful and delightfully ambiguous situations in Cascas d’Ovo / Eggshells that will certainly make the spectator fall in love.
The birthday edition closes with yet another essential household skill: the baking. “Bernadette”, the charming, although obsessive-compulsive character portrayed by Caroline Finn (LT#14) is faced with the mundane task of apple pie making which spirals into a touchingly futile struggle against chaos. A LUCKY Classic!
