For one night musicians fight for fame, honour and the favour of the audience. In a cozy atmosphere, our host Kaey will lead you through a diverse programme while also performing one or two songs herself. Dark romantic rock experiments share the stage with baroque pop sounds, ballads and trip hop/Berlin techno. Artists from SOPHIENSÆLE also contribute a number - out of competition, of course!  The jury is the audience, whose favourite will win a prize at the end of the show and may add a few more numbers as an encore. All the others will have a pleasant evening with good music, champagne punch and nuts.

*** FEATURING ***

THE PARTY IS OVER is a duo from Poland that combines energy and sensuality with electronic lightness. They surprise with their penetrating synthesizer sounds and fascinating voices. In addition to their numerous live and television appearances, they have already released one album and two EPs.

MAREK POLGESEK AKA NANSEA has a unique baroque pop sound that goes beyond the traditional singer-songwriter style. Deeply embedded in Berlin's local queer community, Nansea deals with heteronormative constraints and the incredibly different countercultures that result.

THE CAT'S BACK started her career as a trapeze artist. For a few decades, however, she has been standing firmly on stage as a musician with both feet on the ground. Between blues, rock'n'roll and ballads the energetic all-round artist knows how to enchant with her accordion and her voice.

For SARAH LAMINGER, love of expressing oneself through music and art is the common thread that runs through her life. After a training in singing and acting at the Vienna Conservatory, she has been living in Berlin since 2015. Here she writes her own songs and works as a singer and actress.

MAJAH are a duo dedicated to dark romantic rock experiments. They always carry their singing saw with them - the perfect accompaniment for scary and beautiful musical moments.
