In 2018 Nico and the Navigators celebrated their 20th anniversary where their career began in 1998 as "artists in residence": at Sophiensæle. Now their popular play is back! Looking back on two decades, life stages and intermediate goals show how each individual found his way through the world and into the ensemble. With abysmal humour, a mercilessly honest and empathically sworn group of artists presents itself, dealing with the dreams and fears of the past, the reality of today and the perspectives of tomorrow. As historians and counterfeiters, the Navigators ask themselves crucial questions: What must finally be put on the table - or finally be swept under the table? How do you make a scene to remembrance? And at what point in the present does the future begin?
