Is the world as we know it coming to an end? Crises, populism, the breaking up of Europe, the digital revolution – no democratic, cultural or social accomplishment remains untouched. This evening examines endings – historical, biographical, individual and cultural. Moreover it will look at the Rückkehr der Geschichte (Return of History) and the opportunities within new beginnings. Being political means to seize opportunities – for a stronger democracy, a stronger social coexistence, a lively and open culture.
