Raus aus dem Kopf, rein in den Körper

Our body: In pandemic times, to some of us it seems vulnerable and threatened. Has it stored enough confidence and strength in all those bones, tendons and muscles to cope with it?
In the one-hour online workshop we explore our physical awareness and make friends with our body again. We uncover blockages and resistances, let it sweat for a moment and then let ourselves fall into relaxation. After all we focus on our perception: How does our body feel after the completed effort?

We recommend attending one of the We Bodies performances on October 30 or 31 as a follow-up to the movement workshop.

The workshop is held in German. No previous knowledge is necessary, just a space with enough room to move. To participate, you must download the Zoom software and agree to its privacy policy. The number of participants is limited.

Amelie Mallmann works as a dance mediator at TANZKOMPLIZEN - Tanz für junges Publikum. She has worked for the Kunstfest Weimar, Theaterformen and the Performing Arts Festival as an art mediator and was a board member of the Dramaturgische Gesellschaft for ten years. Currently she is also working as a freelance dramaturg and lecturer for Lake Studios, the network explore dance and the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 2013 she is a member of TANZSCOUT Berlin.
