RE_GENERATION

Siegmar Zacharias:
RE_GENERATION
Immersive Performance/Listening Session
In English

The planets, the water, the plants, the inanimate objects, the human animals vibrate and argue with each other. Things, atoms and particles consist of vibrating energy. In different states we vibrate differently. In sorrow we vibrate differently than in joy, in fear differently than in ecstasy. How could we be together differently in a time where grief and loss, anger and fear accumulate?
Artist Siegmar Zacharias, together with scent alchemist Liza Witte, textile artist Lea Kieffer, and musician Steve Heather, invite us to make our bodies available as resonant spaces for each other to vibrate in the wild spaces of grief, joy and pleasure together with many generations. The sound material is based on the solfeggio frequencies, also called universal frequencies, found in all given natural phenomena. In an immersive landscape of relational objects, crystallized cultural debris, scents of future memories and sounds, a space of being connected in the transformative power of collective mourning, regeneration and listening together is created.
