Social Muscle Club

In Social Muscle Club, one can exchange experiences, give and receive with people you may have never seen in your life.In an atmosphere somewhere between a marriage and gameshow, the social muscle is trained. In May’s club, the we’re mixing the Berlin team with New Berliners from Syria, Costa Rica, Germany and elsewhere. At the same time we are celebrating the beginning of the Neuländish series: The deepening of the unknown is a social workout. We are entering 'uncharted territory'. We urge you to speak a new language. Neuländish is a combination of 'Neuland' and the English word 'outlandish’. The Neuländish series includes a year of monthly research and a 12 hour club for Advanced. We call it social Workout! The first "Neuländish Lab" will take place at 13 o'clock in the Studio15 Uferstudios Berlin on 17 June. Everyone is welcome to come.

The Social Muscle Club began in 2012 as a private Happening in a Berlin living room. Inspired by a small Sheffield workers club with ‚Entertainment and mutual social support’ as the main task,Social Club Muscle develops participatory events and new forms of coming together. Art and performance is a vehicle for new contacts and dialogue and takes place throughout Europe: After clubs in France, England and Switzerland, now an on-going Viennese Club with local artists has begun.
