TANZSCOUT-Einführung zu ONON

Working with voice, sound, objects, installation, visual arts and video, Clément Layes continuously expands the possibilities of choreographic language. In the third part of his series on rhythmic processes ONON, he questions fundamental mechanisms of today's pressure to perform, bringing together repetition and unscheduled things.

The Tanzscout-introduction uses practice material from the rehearsal process: The participants invent and stage tricky situations and work with the principles of minimal music such as loops or accumulation and decomposition of gestures, sounds and rhythms. Ideas and inspirations from the multi-rhythmic machine in the piece - our life's symbol in the continuous "on" of a permanent activity - are imagined in dialogical settings, and it is reflected on (personal) ways out and moments of freedom from this hustle and bustle.

Previous dancing experience is not necessary. Please bring comfortable clothes and something to drink.
