Take a look behind the scenes with Tanzscout Berlin! In a one-hour (physical) introduction before the show we will prepare ourselves for How to get rid of a body. Through playful and practical examinations of the themes and working methods of the dance piece and through the exchange of interesting and questionable information, the workshop participants will be introduced to the upcoming performance event. Previous dancing experience is not necessary. Please bring comfortable clothes and something to drink. People with impaired mobility are very welcome to join.

WORKSHOP Maria Ferrara

María Ferrara is a performing artist, choreographer and learning facilitator. She studied Russian Studies at the University of Essex, acting at Estudio Juan Carlos Corazza in Madrid and dance in Spain. She trained further as a Gestalt facilitator specialized in group processes and as a yoga teacher. She worked with the consultancy Humor Positivo in facilitating the course "The Educational Value of Humour" and designed and facilitated "Emotional Education“ for the Lifelong Training Centres for teachers in Spain. Based in Berlin since 2014, she continues to create her own pieces, teach performing skills and yoga and develop approaches for self-learning.
