Turbo Pascal:
Die Paten
Die Paten
Die Paten is an encounter and fight between two men on par with one another: Frank (38), a theater producer from Neukölln, and Alper (17), a student from Kreuzberg, both are passionate fans of the movie The Godfather. Their views, however, of the mafia and family saga differ extremely. In a discussion about inheritance, family, gangster competencies and images of masculinity they imposingly and playfully step into the cult classic character of the Godfather.

In addition, the collective, which was founded in the context of the Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice study program in Hildesheim, realizes participatory projects with citizens or young people and conceives formats for conversation and communication. Since 2008, the collective has been based in Berlin and works continuously with Sophiensæle.
