Hyperobjekte?

In the Kantine of Sophiensæle sit two halves of a car: the car is both a luxury object and a political issue, a powerful symbol of climate change, capitalism, and much more. But what is the car when it stands in front of you, vulnerable and wounded, literally in pieces? Bathed in the glow of the car‘s headlights, Wagner/Feigl remove and rearrange parts. This experiment explores the material nature of the great conflicts of our time, developing a unique poetry. In a prelude, Wagner /Feigl and their car parts will solemnly and publicly cross the threshold between the outside world and the theater space. Different key aspects of the work will be presented in each of the four evenings of the performance.

FLORIAN FEIGL is developing and showing performances as art for 20 years. Feigl is publishing in galleries or on a boat, in a former cinema or on the scrap yard, on A4 or in the net, on a field or in theatres.

Essay performances (a term he coined for his delirious association trips) and concert performances form the core of OTMAR WAGNERS' work. He also is creating audio plays, scenic installations and curious cabinets. Further he is a lover of strange cartographies.

Blech und Gewebe I - IV is the most recent work of Wagner-Feigl-Forschung/Festspiele after a 10 year break.
