Höhenflug oder warum weinen

“Fit in and don’t kick up a fuss!” Four dancers (two women, two men) try to fit into the roles adults expect of children as if they were sliding into an oversized piece of clothing. They are supposed to be the quickest, the cleverest and the best behaved; and best of all, jump three years in school. But the children only want one thing: to be a child and fill their world with fantasy. They want to run around, make a lot of noise and sleep as long as they like. How can you fit that into an everyday life that’s always supposed to be organised? And how do parents deal with the situation?

Flight of Fancy or why cry shows the active search for freedom of movement. The dancers arouse our appetite for dancing and looking for solutions in a playful manner. They also show us how children can develop freely and be a part of society.
