AUGENBLICK MAL! 2015
In 2015, the 13th edition of Augenblick mal! – the Festival of Theatre for Young Audiences is taking place in Berlin. National and international theatre makers, Berlin school students and families alike all have the opportunity to experience 10 outstanding productions from German theatre for children and young people; not to speak of two European productions from outside Germany. This year the selected German language productions are dominated by dance and performance shows as well as devised plays. The main theme in the international shows is the relationship between the generations. In 2015 the Assitej Artistic Gathering (AAG15) will be presented for the first time during the Festival: international and national theatre experts will be coming to Berlin to view the selected productions and exchange their impressions and ways of viewing. The shows will be discussed in the International Artistic Encounters; Assitej International Artistic Networks will be introducing themselves, and upcoming artists will be coming together as part of the Next Generation grant programme.
