ENCOUNTERS AT SEA – TRANSFORMATIONS
Auf Deutsch - in German
Free admission, please register here.
As part of the performance TURN THE P/AGE, ENCOUNTERS AT SEA combines dialog with practical interaction in a playful “tinkering workshop”: “Thinking-With-Things” - working with and thinking through objects - creates conversations that value knowledge and non-knowledge in equal measure. It opens up a space to question supposedly fixed knowledge boundaries and develop new perspectives together. Transformation experts from the fields of medicine, cultural studies and art meet the performers and interested parties to explore the themes of the performance in greater depth and in new ways.
ENCOUNTERS AT SEA is based on the conviction that conversations become particularly profound when they go beyond the technical to include personal experiences, doubts and blind spots. How do we deal with the limits of our knowledge? And how can we create shared understanding from such an encounter?
