An!
Five artists, together with adolescents from a refugee asylum in Britz and the JKW Grenzallee have developed a theater piece. In three workshops on dance, set design and audio/music, the adolescents and artists will collaborate on a mutually decided theme. During the creative process the project will intrinsically create a space for encounters and exchanges, and challenge the intercultural and social competencies of the participants. Under the creative direction of Salome Dastmalchi, the three artistic realms will then be combined at the end and the result will be performed within the framework of the Youth Festival in the Sophienæle. The project was initiated and created by five Cultural Studies students from the FH Potsdam, in order to bring young asylum seekers and Berliner youths together and to initiate a dialogue far beyond the artistic process.
