ToskaChina

ToskaChina
Chinese farmers and la dolce vita? A culinary feast of the hybrid society.
On the Italian peninsula a new, secret country has grown - ToskaChina. While the Italian population fears their local identity to be threatened by Chinese immigrants, Leone Contini celebrates the fruits of the migration society through the examples of revitalized agriculture and culinary hybrid cuisine. In a combination of cooking class, lecture performance and pop-up restaurant, the audience can enjoy new traditions that have emerged from the convergence of different (vegetable) cultures.
