The show show

Ligia and Vincent will use the Sophiensæle Theater as what it is - a theater. Framed with the singular thought- dance is best when it is danceing, Ligia and Vincent will dance for you. This work develops out of an interest to situate dance as a shared practice and ritual for both audience and performer. Using the tropes of dance as performed historically as well as socially, "the show show" will appropriate practices from dance's distant past mashed up with personal desires, convictions, and visions of what could come of such an obscure material.
