RAQUEL MESEGUER ZAFE:
A CRASH COURSE IN CLOUDSPOTTING
An invitation to pause, to rest, to listen. For her documentary work, Raquel Meseguer Zafe has collected over 300 stories of people who, like herself, depend on lying down and resting in public spaces. Audience members can now experience the play from the comfort of their own homes and together, in their own spaces of choice, trace the lived experiences of people with invisible disabilities and chronic illnesses. A Crash Course in Cloudspotting is equal parts theater and meditation on rest, gravity, and interpersonal connections. A special and intimate audio journey of fragile beauty.
Audience members who register for the event by July 21 will receive a hand-crafted English-language booklet by mail to accompany the listening experience, upon request and by providing their address in the online ticket store. The booklet is not required to attend the production - a digital version can be downloaded HERE. The audio play and accompanying booklet feature stories written and read by: I. Ailing, M. Agathangelou, A. Berry, N. Kov, J. Mclaughlin, A. Morgan, P. Sanchez, and M. Smith.
