Just like Alejandro Jodorwsky, we believe in things, in ink made from urine, spit and one gram of excrement, in mirrors and in a phallus formed from rose blossoms. We believe that the black box is a container beyond measure. We believe in a bouncing light, in walls and silk curtains made of music and in performers that wash away shadows with scrub brushes and lye. Words alone can’t promise to heal, but action can. And a frog stuck in the throat quacks on stage: magical acts matter.
