Information on your visit
The number of respiratory illness infections are currently on the rise again. For some, an illness feels like a mild cold, for others an infection and ist consequences can still be very dangerous. In order to enable as many people as possible to participate in cultural life, we are happy to show solidarity with one another. If you can afford it, test yourself on Covid-19 before attending a performance.
If you have cold symptoms, you can prescribe yourself and your body some rest and cure yourself at home. The Sophiensæle is also happy to provide FFP2 masks for the performance.
You can also find more information about accessibility at the house here.
Directions
Public Transportation
Subway station Weinmeisterstraße
S-Bahn station Hackescher Markt
S-Bahn station Oranienburger Straße
The nearest accessible stop is S-Bahnhof Hackescher Markt. From there, parts of the path to Sophiensæle lead over cobblestones. Under the archway in the first courtyard entrance to the Sophiensæle are barrier posts or are marked with red and white reflective markings. In the courtyard of Sophiensæle there are joints in the ground at larger intervals.
If required, we offer a pick-up service for blind and visually impaired people from the nearby S-Bahn, U-Bahn and tram stations before the tactile tours (for performances with audio description). Further information on the pick-up service can be found here.
