Gespräch zu Living Matters

Gespräch
In English

The collaboration of the artists with the biologists of the Simone Reber Laboratory for Quantitative Biology was crucial for the research process of Living Matters. Many of the methods used there on a daily basis, such as imaging techniques, can be found in the piece in one way or another. In a public discussion round, researchers from the laboratory and the Living Matters team will exchange views on the (in)similarities of aesthetic and scientific research and the potential of transdisciplinary collaboration. The discussion will be moderated by Yvonne Zindel, who works as an art and culture mediator and artistic assistant at the Berlin University of the Arts.
