The boat tour starts at the peninsula Alt-Stralau, the exact place and time (sunset) will be announced in time before the event starts with the ticket purchase. You can decide whether you want to come alone or in pairs. The price is the same for one or two people.
After the success of The River I in the summer of 2022, this special boat tour now returns to Berlin’s waters. The team around Aimé C. Songe alias Clément Layes invites you to an encounter on a rowboat just in time for sunset, alone or in pairs with a friend or loved one. Together with different artists, participants embark on a dreamlike journey to question the concept of an active and productive life and to take time to unwind.
Aimé C. Songe is an artist personality of Clément Layes who takes the time to grieve, finding new ways to come together with the audience, the world outdoors and in nature.

- The performance takes place in a classic rowing boat.
- boat size: 5 meter by 1m40
- Life vests are available.
Procedure
- A performer will welcome you and be your host.
Sound
- The performance is scripted and you will receive a listening device to follow the performance while your host navigates the boat.
Atmosphere
- It is a quiet and relaxed performance.
- During the performance you will be invited to sit or lay down in the boat, sometimes with closed eyes. It is up to you.
