Never Work – MEXA: Reality Show

  • A group of people stands in a bright, empty room, pulling together on a rope in one direction. On the opposite side, a single person dressed in white holds the other end and leans back with their body weight. The body postures convey tension and resistance.

  • Eleven people pose together inside a large, bright room with tall windows and white-painted columns. Some sit on chairs in the center while others stand behind or beside them. The group wears everyday clothing in various colors and looks toward the camera with serious or neutral expressions. Soft daylight enters through the windows, creating a calm and staged atmosphere.

  • A collage of twelve portraits shows different people against a white background. Each person is photographed individually, mostly looking directly at the camera or posing in various ways, some wearing sunglasses. The clothing ranges from simple T-shirts and striped tops to a red dress and a printed shirt; several people have curly or voluminous hair. The images are arranged in a grid, placing the individual portraits side by side and in relation to one another.

  • A collage of twelve black-and-white portrait photographs shows different people individually posed in front of a rough wall inside an empty interior space. The people strike varied poses: some stand with crossed arms or hands on their hips, others wear sunglasses or look directly into the camera. Two sections of the collage remain empty, showing only the wall and floor of the room. The images have the feel of documentary-style studio or casting portraits.
