Nina Mühlemann (none/they/she) lives in Zurich and is an artist and theater and disability scholar. Currently, Nina is working in the research project “Aesthetics of the Im-Mobile” at the Bern University of the Arts and researching im-/mobile dance and theater practices of disabled artists. From 2018-2019 Nina was artistic co-director of Future Clinic for Critical Care, a socio-cultural animated theater practice project, with performances at Gessnerallee Zurich and Impulstanz Festival Vienna. In 2020, Nina co-founded Criptonite with Edwin Ramirez, a crip-queer theater project centering the work of disabled artists.
Edwin Ramirez (they/them, no pronouns) is a performance artist and stand-up comedian from Zurich. Since 2015, Ramirez has performed on all major comedy stages in German-speaking Switzerland and on Swiss television. Together with Nina Mühlemann, Ramirez has been leading the project Criptonite, a crip-queer event series, since the beginning of 2020. From summer 2018 to the end of 2019, Ramirez was part of the Future Clinic for Critical Care, a socio-culturally animated art project with events at the Gessnerallee in Zurich, focusing on care and care work. In October 2020, Ramirez was part of the performance Star Magnolia at Theater Neumarkt.
