Get out of the city! Starting mid-June the Sophiensæle will relocate its base to the outskirts of South East Berlin: between Großer Krampe and pine tree woods far from the big city radars lays the tent site Kuhle Wampe. Every night this faraway place becomes an experimental field of solidarity: based on the eponymous Brecht film from 1932, an obstacle course combines the camping grounds, dance scenes, performances and a dinner together.  

Kuhle Wampe is an equally poetic and discursive examination of the question, how trading in solidarity in light of the financial debt crisis, precariousness and forced migration, can look like today. The performers invite you to a game together, search for the collective patterns of movement and say goodbye to the status quo with furious monologues. With the sun setting over the lake the evening slides into an open ending…
