In sneakers and terrycloth, fake fur and lacquer, Henrike Iglesias experiments with pornography as an empowerment strategy. The audience is live and present when the sensational shooting of 13 porn clips begins inside an inflatable cube – clips which find alternative, queer, feminist and fantastic images for desire. With their hit piece, the collective has succeeded in creating a playful mixture of porn clichés, taboo breaks and educational work. They celebrate their own sexualities, but also admit to the hurdles that have to be overcome in a sexist world. An evening that frees from speechlessness and shame. Everyone can come. But nobody has to come.

HENRIKE IGLESIAS understand pop cultural and mass media phenomena as a mirror of societal attitudes and grievances, and love to explore them from queer and feminist perspectives. Based in Berlin and Basel , they make experimental performances. The permanent crew includes Anna Fries, Eva G. Alonso, Malu Peeters, Marielle Schavan and Sophia Schroth.
