CHICKS* freies performancekollektiv
CHICKS* freies performancekollektiv is an independent performance collective uniting various experts and interdisciplinary artists in a queer-feminist network. In thorough research processes, CHICKS* look for what unites their different every-day realities, what drives them, and what they want to get rid of or change. Being queer-feminist, CHICKS* challenge existing social concepts of gender, sexuality, and power. In their performances, they combine interactive and installation-based meeting formats with a visual theatre of objects and atmospheres. CHICKS* devise theatre productions and interactive performance formats. They also organise workshops, seminars, and trainings in the fields of queer-feminist and sexual education using means of performative theatre for young adults and grown-ups, professionals, and amateurs.
