JOHANNES MÜLLER / PHILINE RINNERT develop music theater hybrids that focus on the past of opera, its effects and techniques, but which are also an archeology of the present, of entertainment and queer culture. Their work Reading Salomé was awarded the jury prize at the 2016 Favoriten Festival.
