Tucké Royale + Kaey
Tucké Royale, born in Quedlinburg in 1984, is a performer, author and musician. Supported by the Rosa-Luxemburg-Foundation, Royale studied contemporary puppet theatre from 2006 to 2011 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. In addition to his own productions, he regularly collaborates with Gintersdorfer/Klaßen and Johannes Maria Schmit. Together with Hans Unstern and Black Cracker he performs as the BOIBAND.
KAEY grew up in Halle/Saale. She moved to Berlin to study fashion design. Here she has been at home for years as a host, singer in projects such as Strawberry Kaeyk and as a trans*activist in the queer scene. She also works as an author and editor for the queer city magazine Siegessäule.
