30 years of German unity? Around the 3rd of October we will continue our focus from last autumn and take a critical look at the so-called reunification. There will be a reunion with TUCKÉ ROYALE + KAEY, HANNSJANA and TANJA KRONE, who will lure us outdoors with their works - to the Weissensee Open Air Theatre, to an unusual audio walk and to a scenic reading followed by a picnic. PEGGY PIESCHE invites us to a reading of her publication Labor 89, which deals with intersectional perspectives on the era of reunification. RIKE FLÄMIG, ANNA HENTSCHEL + ZWOISY MEARS-CLARKE will celebrate the 100th anniversary of an alternative future: What would have happened if the utopian approaches of the Peaceful Revolution of 1989/90 had been successfully implemented? We will seize the opportunity to take a look at German-German society over the past 30 years and to reassess our vision for the future.
